A great read!! You can't miss this one.

Griff Hosker is a wordsmith of repute. His knowlege of the era and his ability to form it into a brilliant first in a series novel is second to none. I can't wait for the next in series.

    Excellent read!

I have always enjoyed Griff Hosker work and this book did not let me down. The historical side was interesting and the characters, along with the plot were very good!

    Lord Edward's archer

Excellent fast paced story, a good read and worth the cost. However, I would have liked some of the characters to have been a bit more developed within the context of the story.

Overall a good read, nice buildup of characters as we go along. Has the next book come out yet and are there 3 for this series ? I look forward to War Bow's (sorry that so corny its priceless) development as a Captain of Archers and equally I look forward to Edwards. Good read !

    Love all of his books

As usual a great hero that rises up from being a commoner. I think I like these because it shows that any of us can be great at something no matter what our birth or circumstances. Keep them coming please!

Once again Griff Hosker shows an aptitude by weaving an exciting new story and starting a new series. I couldn't put it down once I started. Now I want more!!!!

    Another Excellent Series Begun!

"Gerald" the archer started his life journey meting out justice but at the cost of his home and future. As you will see, honor is not always appreciated, but always right. Can't wait for the next installment!

    Good yarn

Nice story but nothing special. Good overview of the archers and English history. I may get to the next two.
